The
2010 Columbus International Auto Show is excited to host
the second annual "Cars are the Stars" Preview
Gala sponsored by The Columbus Dispatch. This evening will kick off the opening of the show
by hosting it's annual preview party that allows guests
to get the first look at the hottest new cars for 2010.
The
year's event will benefit The Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research. Since 1999, more than $6.5 million has been raised by the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Reasearch at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center -- Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and
Richard J. Solove Research Institute.
Through your support:
-
laboratory discoveries are being translated into effective treatments and new drugs for breast cancer patients;
-
a tumor bank has been established to collect, categorize and investigate new risk factors and effective treatments for breast cancer;
-
and financial assistance is provided for breast cancer patients to help cover a variety of needs.

Also receiving a donation this year is the Make-A-Wish
Foundation, grants the wishes of children with
life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human
experience with hope, strength and joy.
The party
will be held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center
on Wednesday, March 17, starting at 7pm with entertainment by Hoo Doo Soul Band and great food and
drinks
The doors officially open to the public on Thursday,
